Strong Condemnation of Brutal Execution in Iran
Heartbreaking and deeply disturbing 💔
Reports reveal that Irfan Sultani, a 26-year-old Iranian shopkeeper and anti-regime protester, was publicly hanged by Iran’s Islamic regime at a crossroads. He was the only child of his parents—his execution stands as a chilling symbol of the ruthless repression faced by dissenting voices in Iran.
Strongly condemning this inhuman act, Dr Anthony Raju, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and a globally recognised Human Rights Defender, stated:
“We strongly condemn the brutality being unleashed in Iran.
Executing innocent citizens for raising their voice is nothing but state-sponsored terror.
We are killing innocent people in the name of power and fear.
The global community must not remain silent—this barbarity must be confronted collectively.”
Dr. Anthony Raju urgently called upon the international community, United Nations bodies, human rights organisations, democratic nations, and civil society worldwide to raise a united voice against these grave human rights violations and to hold the Iranian regime accountable under international law.
Silence today will only embolden tyranny tomorrow.
